TPS supports degree apprenticeship

TPS has been working with employers and the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) to create a 5 year degree apprenticeship.  It follows on from the successful Technician Apprenticeship which has its first cohort of about 30 approaching completion.  Both are compatible with the PDS and TPP. PDS has provided the underlying structure for the degree and can be undertaken in parallel.  The degree standard has been approved and the next stage is the method of assessment – out for consultation now.  This is geared towards employing organisations but other comments are welcome. Deadlines are tight, to submit to the Institute for Apprentices by the end of the year, so please reply before 10 December.
