Professional Development Scheme (PDS)

Progressing a professional career from entry level requires a structured personal development plan, which is tailored to the experience and qualifications of the individual. We support our younger staff in obtaining the breadth and depth of competence in both the technical and generic skills expected of a true professional. The PDS scheme provides trainees with a mentor who has been trained by the Society to help guide the trainee through the scheme and assess progress towards their TPP qualification.

It is the intention of TPS NZ to support organisations to establish the PDS scheme in New Zealand.
