Webinar on Place-Based Carbon Calculator (PBCC):29 June

The Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions is organising one-hour webinar launch of their Place-Based Carbon Calculator (PBCC) on Tuesday 29th June at 11am.

The PBCC is a free tool that shows the carbon footprint of every neighbourhood in England. The map allows you to zoom into any street and see a detailed breakdown of the carbon footprint, uptake of low carbon technologies, and much more. The tool also provides an overview report for each Local Authority and access to new datasets (such as MOT data) that are free to download and use.

The interactive tool was developed by researchers at CREDS (the Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions) - a research centre looking at how to transform the energy demand system. The purpose of the tool is to provide a resource for local government and community organisations to help them address their carbon reduction goals.
