Join us to celebrate the first Transport Planning Day.

Venue: Room 4Q05, Frenchay Campus

The Transport Planning Society and UWE's Centre for Transport and Society will be hosting a lively, informal debate over a few drinks at UWE Bristol's Frenchay Campus.

The event is for anyone working, studying or interested in the field of transport planning, with a particular West of England flavour. Speakers will briefly address the question, "Transport Planning - how hard can it be?" from very different perspectives, before opening the floor to a facilitated discussion to which everyone is welcome to contribute.  Confirmed speakers include:

  • Councillor Mhairi Threlfall (Eastville Ward, Bristol) will moderate the evening's discussion
  • Steve Melia (UWE)
  • Ed Plowden (Bristol City Council)
  • James Freeman (First Bus)
  • Seth Piper (co-founder Living Streets, Bristol)
  • Glenn Lyons (Mott MacDonald/UWE)

This is a free event, but places are limited.
