167 delegates attended the annual Scottish Transport Applications and Research Conference on 24 May at the University of Strathclyde's Technology and Innovation Centre in Glasgow. This 1-day conference included a total of 36 papers/presentations (including an opening address from the Scottish Minister for Transport and the Islands (Humza Yousaf), a keynote presentation on the opportunities and risks of 'Mobility as a Service' by SYSTRA's Martin Higgitt, a summary of the ongoing review of Scotland's National Transport Strategy  and 10 themed parallel sessions covering emissions, walking, vulnerable road users, evaluation, travel planning, appraisal and connectivity, data and modelling, societal impacts of transport, cycling and behavioural change.
