RTPI South East are hosting a Transport Planning Event on the afternoon of 17th June in Tunbridge Wells. As usual for these Transport Planning Events, RTPI are offering the reduced members rate to TPS members.

Without integrated and well planned transport networks, urban centres are less likely to deliver quality places and communities in rural areas become increasingly isolated. This event will explore how transport planning can deliver economic growth, social inclusion, health and environmental benefits.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Chair: Sue Percy, Chief Executive of the Chartered Institution of Highway and Transportation (CIHT)
  • Lynda Addison OBE, Director of Malcolm Baker Consulting and Chair of the Sustainable Transport Panel of CIHT
  • Tim Allen, Partner - Transport Planning, Peter Brett Associates
  • Victor Callister, Deputy Director of Architecture and the Built Environment, Design Council CABE
  • Marian Marsh, Senior Transport Planner, Reading Borough Council
  • Joe Ratcliffe, Transport Strategy Manager, Kent County Council
