UK universities provide a wide range of Masters courses of relevance to transport planning - many of which are approved for the Transport Planning Professional qualification. This depends on a complete match between the TPP competences and the course content. This is audited on a regular basis and thus subject to regular updates.
Approval means that they meet the TPP Knowledge requirements and candidates do not have to complete the first part of a Standard TPP application: the Portfolio of Technical Knowledge (PTK). For some of these courses approval is subject to the choice of specific options. For the latest position candidates should contact: skills@tps.org.uk
For the current list of courses which are TPP approved please click here.
Transport courses which have a different focus or combine with other disciplines and are not TPP approved may nevertheless have substantial relevant content for some of the TPP competences. They can therefore be used as part of a TPP Portfolio of Technical Knowledge, or to complete the TPS PDS, which is the other approved method of achieving the TPP Knowledge requirements.
If you would like your course listed here, please contact info@tps.org.uk
