The Transport Practitioners Meeting organised by PTRC with TPS support is calling for contributions  for poster sessions. The Meeting will be held in Oxford from 5-6 July in historic Oxford.

Why should you present a poster at TPM?

Presenting a poster gives you the perfect forum to demonstrate progress on a current project or share unique ideas you have for the future of the transport industry.  It’s a fantastic occasion to receive feedback and debate with industry experts and peers helping you to improve your project.

Those who are new to presenting in public will find that a poster is a great way to hone your skills. It’s easier than networking, less stressful than presenting; the poster itself allows delegates to engage and discuss topical matters – a built in icebreaker! Plus, there’s no time limit on the discussion. Want to talk about the art of filling potholes until the wee hours of the morning? Go for it!

The central setting of TPM poster stands in the exhibition area will give you invaluable time to present during all refreshment breaks and networking times. We encourage posters to be visual and informative, allowing the TPM Poster area to be a relaxed and inviting portion of the overall event.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 12 noon on Thursday 25 January 2018. The TPM Committee will consider all submitted abstracts in order to deliver an engaging and informative programme. Authors will be notified if their abstract has been selected by 1 March 2018.

Poster presenters qualify for the reduced speaker delegate rate.
