Are you tired of being stuck in traffic jams or fed up when your bus or train does not turn up? Well so are we and we need you to help solve the problem.

Transport is a major part of the way that we all live. Without it we could not get to work, we could not go to the cinema and meet our friends or our families. Holidays without travel would not be very interesting. Yet we tend to take travel for granted until it fails to work properly.

This site has been set up by leading transport planning employers under the Transport Planning Skills Initiative to address the skills shortage in transport planning. It is aimed both at experienced transport planners already in the profession looking for career progression and at those interested in entering transport planning after university or subsequently as a career changer.

This facility is completely free to job seekers. Managed by the not-for-profit Transport Planning Society the rates for employers placing adverts are very cost effective and represent very good value for money compared with other recruitment channels.

It allows candidates to log their CV which will then be matched to current vacancies from the leading consultants and other employers working in the field.

The Transport Planning Society hope that you will find it of value.
