The PDS documentation is being revised to include the Chartered title for TPP holders (CTPP) and the Incorporated Transport Planner (IncTP) title for those who are successful at their PDS final review.

Keith Buchan, Skills Director said:

“CTPP has been great news for raising the profile of the profession. If you hold the senior or standard route TPP all you have to do is fill in a simple form and pay a small extra fee. TPS and CIHT have set up a new open arrangement where people with solo membership of other professional bodies can hold TPP and thus CTPP. The same is true for IncTP which we have just introduced for those who successfully complete the PDS. TPS is completely committed to the idea that the transport planners of the future will benefit from a full range of qualifications just as other professionals currently do.”
