Senior/Principal Transport Planner

Job Description

Dynamic Transport Planning (DTP) are recruiting for a transport planning professional to join their team.

DTP are an independent Transport Planning Consultancy based in Durham who support development projects of all types including residential, retail, employment, leisure and roadside schemes all across the UK.  DTP primarily undertake works including production of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plan, Road Safety Audits, Traffic Modelling (including Micro-Simulation), Detailed Highway Design and other works as required to discharge highways related planning conditions.

The position is for a Senior or Principal Transport Planner with hybrid working arrangements based at our Belmont Business Park office on the edge of Durham City.

DTP prides itself on ensuring developments are safe, viable and sustainable.  Our knowledge and impact with our clients goes far beyond the brief of a transport report and we are looking for someone with the same values to join our team based in the North East.

The right candidate will possess a high level of transport planning technical abilities but most importantly will relish the opportunity to have a huge impact on the growth of a North East based independent SME.

The right candidate will also be able to work flexibly to cover 2/3 days in the office based in Durham and be able to work remotely in a productive manner.

Your technical abilities will cover all aspects of Transport Planning including but not limited to:

• Liaison with clients;
• Production and finalising of professional reports;
• High level of Transport Modelling capabilities; and
• Project Management skills.

Salary dependent on experience.
