Assistant Transport Modeller, Cambridge

About the Role

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Transport Modeller to join our Transportation team in Cambridge.

Your role will be supporting senior staff in our growing Transport Modelling team in Cambridge. You can expect to be active on a number ofprojects/client accounts at any given time. These can vary in both scale and nature, making the workload extremely interesting. We operate throughout East Anglia and the South East of England with projects ranging from junction models, microsimulation models through to strategic county wide models.

The Cambridge Transport Team undertakes largely development planning work specialising in providing advice to private sector and local authority clients on access, transportation and infrastructure issues and supporting development proposals through the planning process. It works closely with our Infrastructure Team, Environmental team and our Property team who are also based in our Cambridge office.                                                                  

About You

Requirements

  • Maths, Geography, Civil Engineering or Computer Science Degree         
  • Excel and general microsoft office suite            

Experience in at least one of the following modelling packages: SATURN, PARAMICS, VISSIM, VISUM, Junctions 9, Or similar.
