Your new role, what's involved?

 

  • Day to day delivery of CDM advisory services across a variety of projects, including supporting project teams in the development and management of risk registers, pre-construction information and all relevant CDM documentation.
  • Assist those appointed as duty holders to discharge their legal responsibilities, enhancing where needed our clients understanding of their duties.
  • Be part of a UK wide Community of Practice, sharing experience, learning and collaborating with other like-minded individuals to innovate and create new ideas across the UK business.
  • Where requested, support the Local Government Health & Safety business partner in undertaking inspections and audits across the UK.
  • Applying CDM and Health & Safety knowledge to support a positive culture of safety first through our business.

YOUR TEAM

  • Formed in 2022, the WSP Central Delivery Team for local government supports numerous Local Authorities across the UK. The team has grown steadily on the back of continued successful delivery and is looking at opportunities to expand the variety of skills we can offer directly to our clients.
  • The core team has grown from a cadre of Northampton based colleagues, supported by embedded colleagues from our Integrated Complimentary Resource Centre in India plus remotely based colleagues across the UK. This role has the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK.
  • Projects range in both size and scale with our team being engaged in projects from small section 278 projects up to some of the largest Local Authority infrastructure schemes in the UK.
  • We are a flexible and diverse team that fully embraces hybrid working arrangements, with opportunities to progress and develop your career.

 

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

 

  • Working practical knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
  • NEBOSH qualifications alongside industry experience of acting as a CDM Advisor.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • A commitment and enthusiasm to ensure high quality delivery to clients.
