The transportation infrastructure sector is experiencing unprecedented levels of investment and Atkins is playing lead roles in projects to upgrade existing transport networks to deliver future demand including major highway schemes, high-speed rail as well as extensive public transport enhancements. Consultants from Atkins and their partners in the supply chain, are working with government, local authorities, contractors and private developers to develop our future cities and infrastructure.
We are currently recruiting talented individuals to help deliver development planning projects for our expanding client base. With over 300 specialists in our UK Transport Planning business, we have the flexibility and resources to provide our clients with an extensive range of services including transport policy and strategy planning, traffic modelling, pedestrian modelling, scheme appraisal, travel demand management, scheme design and development planning.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit a pedestrian modelling specialist for our successful Transport Planning business. We would like to discuss our exciting range of opportunities with prospective candidates and hear what you are looking for from your next exciting career development step. Collaborating with our specialist team across the business you will have the opportunity to work not only on national but also international projects from Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Scandinavia, and Northern America. You will provide specialist pedestrian flow analysis using a wide variety of evaluation techniques from, station capacity planning, design feasibility, event planning and operational analysis and emergency escape. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with at least two years’ experience who wishes to work within a high performing, dynamic team.
The successful candidate can be based in our HQ in Victoria, London. We support agile working and part-time home working is anticipated. A modern office in the heart of London that buzzes with the excitement of people working at the leading edge of our industry and at all levels of their careers.
