Job Summary

WYG’s Southampton Regional Office is a leading provider of expert multidisciplinary services and advice into the development sector, working on a wide range of high profile projects. We are now expanding the highly motivated and commercially focused transport team to meet our growing workload of public sector transport projects and major private sector developments.  As a result we need ambitious and experienced transport professionals to help us meet our growth aspirations. About you

You must have a good all-round knowledge of the UK planning system and the workings of local government. You will have experience in the following; Preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plan Reports, Transport scheme design and appraisal with knowledge of relevant policy, guidance and advice including DMRB and MfS. You should be able to analyse data then collate and interpret it. Experience of transport modelling software packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, and TRICS is essential, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack. Knowlegde of the principles of strategic transport modelling, or prior experience of using SATURN and VISUM software would be desirable. The position is available immediately. A full UK driving licence is required.
