This event has been put together to promote the qualification and provide you with information on the routes available for application and is open to all, including non-TPS members. Please invite your colleagues to come along.

Together with the IHT, TPS has introduced the Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification, designed to be equivalent to that of other professional bodies, including Chartered Engineer, CEng.

The TPP qualification is based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Transport Planning, developed by the Society with GoSkills (the Sector Skills Council), which were approved by QCA and other regulatory bodies in 2007.

Martin Richards, TPS and Derek Palmer, IHT will be guest speakers and will briefly outline the background to the qualification, the competence standards and assessment procedures

This event is being held at the offices of Mott MacDonald, Canterbury House, 85 Newhall Street on Thursday 28th May 2009 18:00 for prompt start at 18:30.

Refreshments will be available throughout the evening. As with all TPS and IHT events, there will be plenty of opportunity for networking in the pub (probably Edmunds) afterwards!
