TPS is pleased to announce the launch Transport Planning Day 2024.
See all the current vacancies.
Open to all those studying or working in transport planning, or related fields, on a professional basis.
As part of the "Thinking Strategically" series, this seminar asks the question - how do we map and measure the capital and what implication does this hold for the future of planning?
Join RTPI London and RTPI-TPS Transport Planning Network to hear speakers from Arup, UCL and TfL who will examine the latest developments in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial systems, and will show how the new city-wide tools can provide insight into the operations of the capital and the impact of transport infrastructure on spatial planning.
Please arrive at 18:00 for refreshments and networking - the seminar will begin at 18:30.
Speakers:
* Professor Michael Batty: (Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), UCL);
* Damien McCloud: (Arup);
* Yaron Hollander : (TfL Planning).
* Andrew Dorrian: (TfL Planning – Event Chair)
