On Thursday 12th March, 63 TPS teams located in seven different pubs across the UK took part in the 2015 National TPS Pub Quiz.

Quiz sponsors Integrated Transport Planning Ltd set the questions as teams in London, Scotland, Winchester, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Leicester battled it out for the coveted title of TPS National Pub Quiz Winners.

The quiz was a close run affair at the half-way point, with Metro (respect my combined authority) in Leeds leading the way with 30pts and ten teams tied in second place with 29pts. 

After the break and a challenging transport-themed round, the top three teams emerged and the National TPS Pub Quiz winners, Mottsam and Jetsam from London were crowned.   In second and third place and only a single point behind the eventual winners were the ITP Crowd in the West Midlands and Don’t mention the Wharf in Winchester, separated only by a brain-teasing tie breaker.

The evening was a great success and also raised just under £300 for Transaid, a charity that aims to improve lives across Africa through creating better transport.
