TPS Manifesto 2015

As we did for the last election, TPS is working on a “Manifesto” to be published before May, working alongside the longer term vision for transport proposed jointly by TPS and CILT.  It is designed to provide some more detailed ideas for discussion which could be implemented in the next Parliament.  We have already held events in different parts of the country and the Bursary Scheme also focusses on this topic.  Overall through December and January we should have a diverse range of content to use for a first draft:

• Existing policy responses and Professors’ letter
• Stakeholder event
• Discussions at UWE, Oxford and Leeds
• TPS topic events including aviation and appraisal
• Annual Member Survey
• Bursary reports
• Member input on the draft (see below)

The short briefing note for discussion is here and the generic presentation used is used here.  If you have something to say about the issues raised, or your own ideas, please get in touch.  The aim is to move towards a draft outline before a final version, hopefully before New Year, and we will let members know as soon as it is available for comment.
