Board member, Tim Morton, with the support of local members, is seeking to raise the profile of  transport planning and the TPS in Northern Ireland and to introduce more TPS functions there. The Society is pleased to note that the Department for Regional Development in Northern Ireland is strengthening its transport planning and analysis capability by building its in-house team and by recently letting framework commissions to six transport planning consultancies – so potential speakers may enjoy a larger audience than you might expect.
