Neil Taylor of ITP successfully presented his Bursary Award paper entitled 'Matchday Travel Plan Own Goal?' to the TPS Board in September.

You can read Neils paper for yourself by clicking here, and see his presentation by clicking here. Copies are also held in the online library.

Neil was one of the applicants for a Bursary in 2008 and the successful completion of his paper wins him a prize of £500, to be presented at the TPS Annual Dinner in November.  Neil's mentor in developing his paper was David Rowe of TfL.

Up to five bursaries are offered every year ‘to allow younger members of the Society time to conduct a piece of structured thought on a topic of current relevance to transport planning, which might not otherwise be undertaken’.
