Revised Version of the TPS Professional Development Scheme

Version 2 of the TPS Professional Development Scheme has just been released to all Scheme licensees. These bring the Scheme into line with changes recently made to the requirements for the TPP qualification.

The main changes are:

1.   Scheme participants can now choose both Models and Analysis, and Assessment, as optional Proficiency Unit, rather than just one of the two.

2.   In completing the Scheme, participants can now choose between achieving all the Mandatory requirements and

either

  • demonstrating Proficiency in three Units from the Policies and Regulations, Tools and Techniques, Design or Operations Areas (in addition to Data for which Proficiency is Mandatory) as well as Experience in one other Unit, which must be from the Design or Operations Areas

or

  • demonstration of Proficiency in two Units from the Policies and Regulations, Tools and Techniques, Design or Operations Areas (in addition to Data for which Proficiency is Mandatory) together with Experience in three other Units, which must be from the Design or Operations Areas

3.  In addition, a new Section provides a comparison between the TPS Scheme and the TPP qualification requirements.
