On 4 March, MVA in the North West beat off the challenge of 80 other teams to retain the Transport Planning Society National Pub Quiz trophy, sponsored by ITP.

The annual event proved just as successful as last year, with nearly 400 people participating in quizzes held simultaneously in nine different venues around the country.

Answering questions on subjects as diverse as children’s TV, sport and transport, MVA clinched top spot with a score of 68.  In second place were AECOM/PBA in the West Midlands, with 66 points, and in joint third place the South East England Partnership Board in Winchester and the Red Knights from Nottinghamshire CC in the East Midlands with 65 points.

Quizzes were also held in the North East, Yorkshire and Humber, the South West, Wales and London.

Over £300 was also raised for the charity, Transaid. Thanks to all for your generosity.
