TPS is pleased to announce the launch Transport Planning Day 2024.
See all the current vacancies.
Open to all those studying or working in transport planning, or related fields, on a professional basis.
There are six vacancies available for elected places on the TPS Board, and we have nine nominations. As a TPS member you are entitled to vote for six of the nominated candidates - you should have already received your ballot papers in the post, so PLEASE VOTE!
Details of the nominees with their supporting statements can be found by clicking here.
There are two ways for you to register your vote. Firstly, for ease of administration, we would appreciate you returning your completed ballot paper to the ICE by Monday 22 February. Alternatively, you can register your vote in person before the start of the AGM, provided that you bring your ballot form with you.
The AGM takes place on Wednesday 24 February 2010 at 18.30 at One Great George Street, London and, again, details can be found by clicking the above link.
In addition, we are asking members to vote on a Resolution, which seeks member agreement to change the quorum (the number of members) that are required at any future General Meetings (including the AGM) where business is to be transacted. We would be grateful if you could also return your vote on the Resolution by Monday 22nd February - your support on this is important.
Better still, why not join us on 24 February – to support your new Board, to hear about our plans for 2010 and to listen to our Transport Planner of the Year at the Annual Lecture. We look forward to seeing you there.
