The TPS East Midlands branch will be visiting the newly developed ‘Big Track’ cycle route in Nottingham – seeing it first hand by cycling the 10 mile route. 

Weather permitting, our ride will take place on Wednesday 9th September with a start at 17.00.  We should be back by 18.30

IThe route is very flat, following the river and canal, and is entirely off-street, so should be a pleasant ride.  No doubt we will stop at some stage for refreshments!  Further details can be found at: http://www.thebigwheel.org.uk/bigtrack/.

The start of the Big Track is close to the City Centre and the Train Station. Jon will let you know where to meet.

If we get a good level of interest then we will get a City Council or RideWise representative to provide some background commentary on the development and marketing of the Big Track. 

For those who haven’t got a bike, the local Bike Shop will hire them for around £9 a day – let Jon know and he will send you the details.
