Thank you to all our members who have paid this year's subscription. This is appreciated as it saves us valuable resources from chasing unpaid subs and allows us to concentrate on our core activities which have expanded significantly over recent years. We hope you recognise that at £40 for those paying by Direct Debit this is great value for money and significantly lower than other associations in the domain.
For those who have joined us yet -make sure you sign up soon and don't miss out on all the great benefits of being a TPS member -head to the membership section of the website for the full list https://tps.org.uk/membership/individual
Did you know that TPS is one of the professional organisations and learned societies approved by HMRC for TAX RELIEF. Good to remember for your next tax return !
Paying by DD saves you £5 per year (every little helps !) and the trouble of paying via the ICE website. You can set up an annual Direct Debit on the MyICE section of the ICE website, https://www.ice.org.uk/my-ice, alternatively you can contact the ICE Subscriptions Department on (020 7665 2227)where a direct debit mandate can be set up manually if you do this before July. You will need to quote your membership number with all enquiries. Your personal data is also held on the MyICE site and as such this is also a good opportunity to update any changes to personal contact details.
To pay your subscription via the ICE website go to the ICE homepage www.ice.org.uk and click on 'Members login' in the MyICE section. You will need to enter your surname and password before being taken to the MyICE index page. If you have forgotten your password there will be an automated password reminder service available.
To register, go to the ICE homepage www.ice.org.uk and click on 'Register' in the MyICE section. Click 'Yes' when asked whether you are a member of ICE or an Associated Society. You will then be asked to enter your Surname, date of birth, e-mail address and ICE Membership number. Please note, this is where you should enter your 8 digit TPS membership number as provided to you in your welcome letter when you joined the TPS. This data will be validated against our membership database and you will be e-mailed your password for MyICE.
If your membership has lapsed you do not need to submit a new application. Please contact the subscriptions team on 020 76652227 and quote your membership number. They can then arrange for you to be reinstated. You can pay the current membership fee by card or arrange for a direct debit to be set up. If you cannot remember your membership number please first contact the TPS Secretariat at katherine.coldwell@ice.org.uk
Our mantra is "the more you put in the more your get out of being a member" and we always welcome people getting involved in helping to organise events, writing blogs, promoting membership to colleagues, the bursary competition, policy consultations and our Transport Planning Day Campaign.
Do contact us at Info@tps.org.uk if you want to follow up on any of this. We are always keen to hear from you.
