TPS members invited to attend TPS-run session at upcoming European Transport Conference 

The TPS-run session at the 2021 European Transport Conference (ETC) is open to attendance for all TPS members, even if you are not a conference delegate.

The ETC is a prestigious annual conference run by the Association for European Transport attracting transport policy makers, practitioners and researchers from all over Europe and beyond.

The TPS session will be held virtually from 1-3pm CEST (12-2pm BST) on Wednesday 15 September. It will take the form of a panel discussion on how transport planning could be improved through better international collaboration, networking, training and skills development.

The session will feature talks and discussion from current and former TPS Chairs, Mark Frost and Stephen Bennett, alongside a host of other panellists from leading organisations around Europe.

  • Mark Frost - Chair, Transport Planning Society, UK
  • Elaine Brick - Regional Director AECOM and Regional Representative, Transport Planning Society Republic of Ireland Branch, IE
  • Francis Cirianni - Research fellow at the University of Reggio Calabria and Vice President of the National Agency for Professional Engineers of the CNI (Italian Engineering Council), IT
  • Ines Kawgan-Kagan - Managing Director, AEM (Accessible Equitable Mobility) Institute, DE
  • Patrick Bonnel - Head of Transport Department, ENTPE Graduate, Post-graduate and Research Institute, FR
  • Elisabete Arsenio - PhD, Leader of the Transport Economics and Policy Group of ECTRI (European Conference of Transport Research Institutes), PT
