TPS Bursary Competition 2021: Finalists announced

The Transport Planning Society Board is delighted to announce that three Young Professionals have been shortlisted for Bursaries in the 2021 TPS Bursary Competition. 

Finalists for this year are: 

• Liani Baglietto Castellares – Arup 
• Julia Coonan – PJA 
• Lucy Prismall – Reading Borough Council 

Each is currently conducting  research on their chosen topic fitting with the overall theme of; 

Scenario planning – how can Transport Planners best plan for the new normal? 

Each Bursarian will receive £500 on producing a satisfactory paper and presenting to the TPS Board in early 2022. 

Joanna Ward - Transport Planning Board Director responsible for the Bursary competition said ‘we are excited to see their work develop and look forward to reading the final papers.’
