TPS are delighted to announce Anne Clarke from TfGM as the latest panellist to join upcoming panel

We are excited to announce that Anne Clarke, Cycling & Walking Evaluation Officer at Transport for Greater Manchester, has agreed to join our Future proofing transport decision making - using data and modelling better panel on 20th September, where she will discuss: Using diverse data to inform active travel infrastructure interventions.

Chaired by Tom van Vuren, TPS Board Director with responsibility for Policy, other speakers on the panel and their topics are:

  • Using scenarios – practical experience: Stephen Cragg, Transport Scotland
  • Can we dispense with models and just rely on data: Luis Willumsen
  • Activity based models - a solution or a distraction: Tim Veitch, VLC
  • Reflecting uncertainty and multiple scenarios in Cost Benefit Analysis: Iven Stead, DfT

The webinar will focus on the role that models and data have to play in helping decision-maker's identify uncertainties to create effective transport interventions and solutions, and how to handle this in a cost-effective way.
