The TPS are seeking new Regional representatives for the South West, and East of England!

If you are someone who wants to be at the heart of the transport planning profession, and has some time to help your fellow transport planners, then two exciting opportunities have opened up!

As part of its network of National and Regional Representatives, the Transport Planning Society is looking for committed transport planners to join the South West and the East of England Regional teams. There are no minimum requirements for experience or education, so long as you work as a transport planner in the respective area.

The role is yours to shape, though the TPS does require you to run at least two events a year (including the annual TPS Quiz), and attend online meetings of the Nations and Regions Representatives. If that sounds daunting, don’t worry – you will be part of a supportive group of people who will provide you with the support that you need to be the best rep possible. You will also be expected to be in the role for a minimum of a year.

If you are interested, drop us a email at info@tps.org.uk, and we will set up a chat with our Nations and Regions Coordinator, James Gleave, at a time to suit you. You will get a chance to ask questions about the position, and find out more about what it entails. We look forward to hearing from you!
