The TPS are seeking a representative for Scotland

If you are someone who wants to be at the heart of the transport planning profession, and has some time to help your fellow transport planners, then the Transport Planning Society has just the role for you.

As part of its network of National and Regional Representatives, the Transport Planning Society is looking for two committed transport planners in Scotland to be the national representatives for Scotland. There is no minimum requirements for experience or education. So long as you work as a transport planner in Scotland, you are free to do it.

The role is yours to shape, though the TPS does require you to run at least two events a year (including the annual TPS Quiz), and attend online meetings of the Nations and Regions Representatives. If that sounds daunting, don’t worry – you will be part of a supportive group of people who will provide you with the support that you need to be the best rep possible. You will also be expected to be in the role for a minimum of a year.

If you are interested, drop us a line at info@tps.org.uk, and we will set up a chat with our Nations and Regions Co-ordinator James Gleave at a time to suit you. You will get a chance to ask questions about the position, and find out more about what it entails. We look forward to hearing from you.
