The Rees Jeffreys Road Fund Trustees will be running a Transport Masters Bursary programme for 2022-23 academic year.
The Trustees are hoping to encourage more applications to study for a transport related Masters – both from people who are new to the transport sector and people who are currently employed in the sector who may wish to add to their professional skills or knowledge.
Bursaries are available for a wide range of transport related topics, and are aimed at students who would not be able to afford to study without the Bursary. There will be up to eight bursaries of £10,000 each awarded for the academic year starting 2022-23. The Bursaries are released in stage payments over the period of study.
Around April the universities tend to have open days where people interested in studying for a masters’ degree can speak to universities about courses available. For any employees in the road sector who are thinking that studying for a masters’ degree – full time or part time – is something that would enhance their career in the sector, but don’t have the funds to cover the course fees, now is a good time to be talking to universities to find out more.
People interested in Masters study should initially speak to one of the 12 universities who run transport related Masters programmes. They are listed on their website here: https://www.reesjeffreys.co.uk/bursaries/
All enquiries from potential students should be made via the university, rather than students contacting Rees Jeffreys Road Fund directly. The deadline for universities to apply for a Bursary on behalf of students is the 4th July 2022.
