See all the current vacancies.
Open to all those studying or working in transport planning, or related fields, on a professional basis.
Many congratulations to Mara Shepherd from Stantec who has successfully completed the PDS and can now use the post nominal IncTP (Incorporated Transport Planner). Mara is based in Edinburgh and the second transport planner this year from Stantec to be awarded a PDS completion – both in January. This is part of the picture of the growing number of successful completions across the UK. The pathway to TPP is also clear, 10 PDS completers have already achieved CTPP.
Mara said:
“I am very proud and happy to have successfully completed the TPS Professional Development Scheme. I feel a great sense of achievement for the hard work and dedication I have given over the last four years to work towards this scheme. I am very thankful for everyone at Stantec who have helped and supported me through this first step of my professional career. I look forward to working towards the TPP in the near future!”
Keith Buchan, TPS Skills Director said:
"Congratulations to Mara for her achievement, we welcome her to the growing community of transport planners who have completed PDS and can now also use the title Incorporated Transport Planner: IncTP. Stantec have participated in the PDS from the beginning in 2008 and supplied five successful PDS candidates in 2024 and two already in 2025. This confirms the value our skills partners find in PDS participation. We look forward to even more trainees following Mara’s excellent example.”
