PDS success for Mott MacdonaldMegan Fox

Many congratulations to Megan Fox from Mott Macdonald who has completed the PDS and can now use the post nominal IncTP (Incorporated Transport Planner).  It is part of the picture of the growing number of PDS completions, across private and public sectors, which achieved double figures for the first time in 2022 and reached 15 in 2023.  The pathway to TPP is also clear, 2 of Mott’s PDS completers have already achieved CTPP.

Megan said:

"The TPS Professional Development Scheme has allowed me to gain breadth and depth in my technical knowledge as a transport planner, providing a structure to enable me to identify areas where I needed to gain more experience and focus my efforts here. It has also helped develop softer skills such as communication and working within a team. I now plan to go on to complete the Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification. A big thank you to my mentor Ian Woodhouse for all of his support in helping me get the PDS."

Keith Buchan, TPS Skills Director said:

"Congratulations to Megan for her achievement, we welcome her to the growing community of transport planners who have completed PDS and can now also use the title Incorporated Transport Planner: IncTP.  Her mentor Ian completed the PDS in 2020 and gained TPP 18 months later.  Mott Macdonald have participated in the PDS from the beginning in 2008 and have been an active supporter ever since.  We look forward to more trainees following Megan’s excellent example.”
