Many congratulations to Rebecca Kingston who is the first from Mayer Brown to complete the PDS and can now use the post nominal IncTP. It is part of the picture of growing PDS numbers, across private and public sectors, which achieved double figures for the first time last year and is on target to achieve at least 15 in 2023.
Rebecca said:
“I am thrilled to have completed the TPS Professional Development scheme, especially as the first person at Mayer Brown to do so. I feel a great sense of accomplishment for the hard work I have put in over the last two years and its contribution in my progression from graduate to senior level. I look forward to taking on the TPP in the coming years!”
Her mentor, Alec Philpott, said:
“The TPS PDS process has been invaluable guidance for our young Transport Planners to shape their current & future training and, ultimately, their careers. The clear structure, combined with direct support from TPS for both the Mentor and Trainee, ensured the maximum benefit was secured from the process. Rebecca has worked extremely hard to achieve this goal and it is thoroughly deserved with the TPS making the point that her CPD records, in particular, were among the best they have seen. I look forward to her securing the TPP!”
Keith Buchan, TPS Skills Director said:
"Congratulations to Rebecca for her achievement, we welcome her to the growing community of transport planners who have completed PDS and can now also use the title Incorporated Transport Planner: IncTP. Mayer Brown has been a supporter of transport skills over many years and we look forward to more trainees following Rebecca’s excellent example.”
