JFG Communications appointed as new Business Manager for TPS

JFG logo 3JFG Communications (JFG Comms) has recently been appointed to carry out the Business Manager role for Transport Planning Society, following the retirement of Andy Costain. JFG Comms will ensure the smooth running of the Society and support the volunteer Board members in delivering strategies and initiatives of the Society.

Sarah McSharry will be the project lead for JFG Comms acting as the ‘Business Manager’, and will be the single point of contact between TPS and JFG Comms.

JFG Comms is a virtual public affairs consultancy specialising in stakeholder engagement, political communications, and diversity. The company works with customers in the transport, infrastructure and construction sectors.

Andy Costain, the previous Business Manager for TPS, said:

‘Im delighted to be handing over my role to the team at JFG Communications and I’m confident they can continue the good work that TPS has been doing for many years now.’

As part of the role, JFG Comms will support the skills team, help communicate with TPS members, manage and maintain the website, attend and report on Board Meetings and assist with stakeholder membership relations.

Sarah McSharry, the new Business Manager and project lead from JFG Comms, said:
