Call for papers for the 21st Annual Transport Practitioners' Meeting

PTRC and TPS are excited to announce the 21st Annual Call for Papers for the Transport Practitioners’ Meeting! This year the transport plannig event of the summer will take place in Greenwich 28-29 June 2023.

For over 20 years TPM has brought transport practitioners together to debate, share and engage. To think critically and be empowered to make transport a force for good. TPM provides a home for the profession, an arena to find common solutions, planning a better future for us all.

More information is available at www.transportconference.co.uk

The conference encourages participation from all levels of practitioner and offers an excellent opportunity for those within the industry to discuss thoughts and ideas with peers. With an audience from a wide variety of transport fields, a vast array of topics will be of interest to other delegates. Below is a list of hot topics we would encourage people to consider when developing papers:

Climate Agenda: Net zero future, Climate adaption

Lessons Learnt: Recovering from missteps, Changing industry standards, Pandemic response

Planning the Future: Emergency planning, Scenario planning

Changing Travel Behaviour: Active travel, Performance management

The New World of Modelling: Data and data manipulation, Uncertainties in decision making

Public Transport: Rural transport solutions, Bus back better, Accessibility planning

But these are by no means exclusive - we are happy to accept papers on the latest developments in all areas of transport! You can find out more information on the Call for Papers here: https://transportconference.co.uk/

TPM is supported by the Transport Planning Society which also sponsors two awards presented at the TPM Awards Dinner including Best Paper at the Conference by a Young Professional and Transport Planner of the Year.
