TPS was delighted to present the Award for the Best Paper by a Young Professional to Sherin Francis and Katie Pearce, both from Jacobs and TPS members, for their paper:

"Reimagining Movement and the Transport Appraisal Process through a Gender Lens: a case study in the United Kingdom utilising a lifecycle approach. 

On receiving the Award from Stephen Bennett, TPS Chair at the Virtual Awards ceremony. Sherin and Katie said 

“We are honoured to be selected as the recipients of the Award for the Best Paper by Young Professionals at the 18th Transport Practitioners Meeting 2020. We would like to thank TPS, the TPM organisers, and Jacobs for recognising our inclusive transport research work which we believe can positively impact transport appraisal and benefit equitable transport investment for all users.“
