Another Successful  PDS Completion

Liz of Peter Brett Associates (now part of Stantec)

Liz has become the consultant’s first trainee to have completed PDS.  She was mentored by Dawn Wylie, an active member of TPS and a TPS rep on the TPP Professional Standards Committee.

Liz said that:

“I have recently completed the TPS Professional Development Scheme, having been compiling evidence of experience for a number of years. I have found the Scheme highly beneficial in my career progression as it has provided me with a wider range of experience and made me, I hope, a more rounded Transport Planner. I have benefited from having a highly supportive mentor from the beginning who has helped me keep going following two periods of maternity leave. I am now on a career break to look after children full-time and, despite it not always being easy, I am very glad to have completed the Scheme before taking this break.”
