Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th May 2017 at University College London, 

This two-day course is designed to help those working in transport planning to understand and effectively manage consultation and participation processes.

The course will be delivered by Tom Cohen (UCL Centre for Transport Studies) and Lucy Farrow (Dialogue by Design) with a guest lecture by Glenn Barcham, Assistant Director – Highways at Bedford Borough Council.

The course content includes:

  • the law of consultation
  • stakeholder analysis
  • the range of participation methods and their characteristics
  • matching methods to the planning task
  • facilitation
  • analysis and reporting of responses
