Our Transport Planning Model Development and Research team based in our St Albans office is looking to recruit an experienced and driven Senior Transport Planner to help the team grow further. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a strong and accomplished Transport Planning team and to work on leading modelling projects which are at the forefront of the Transport Planning industry. We believe in a healthy work/life balance, as such we have a flexible working policy and are happy to look at a range of different working patterns.This experienced Transport Modeller will join a 25+ persons strong Transport Planning Team in St Albans which is embedded into the 100+ professional Transportation team in the town centre office. St Albans is one of our central hubs for the Transport Planning and Development Planning team, located 30 minutes north from London St Pancras / Kings Cross, and on the Thameslink railway line with direct routes to Croydon, Wimbledon, Luton, Brighton, and more. Examples of these transport planning projects include the development of innovative and evidence-based techniques to process mobile network data to understand multimodal travel demand, using big data and data fusion techniques to fill in gaps in the data and improve the accuracy of modelling results, and developing bespoke tools used for visualisation of data or forecasting. We are planning to expand our knowledge and skills in similar emerging areas over the next 18 months.The Model Development and Research team primarily work in the following areas, providing both breadth and depth expertise within the Transport Planning discipline:
