Job Description

What is the purpose of this role?

Delivering all the specified project outcomes on time, within budget and to the client’s specifications whilst ensuring the project requirements are fully met.

What makes this role unique?

You will be in a client focused role working within a new generation Design Support Contract with Highways England, you will ensure that a strong relationship with the client is developed and maintained, portfolios of projects are delivered, cost-effective, technically sound design solutions are produced to programme and within budget and ensure compliance with all relevant technical standards.

What are we looking for?

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience
• Design Experience within the highways sector 
• Project co-ordination and management experience
• Experience of working within
• Experience of working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary projects with multiple external partners
• Strategic and technical leadership skills
• Performance Management
• Financial Control and Management Pricing and cost estimation
• Use of relevant Technical Software
• Whole Life Design/Buildability
• Microsoft Project /Oracle Primavera P6
• Team management
• Knowledge of required standards within their discipline 
• Knowledge of NEC contracts
• CDM 2015
• Communications skills
• Experience with multi-discipline teams•
• Experience in stakeholder engagement
• Problem Solving/Innovation and Continual Improvement
