Job Description

Due to continued growth in SYSTRA's Manchester office, we have an opportunity for a talented strategic modelling Principal Consultant to join the team. We are particularly interested in applications from individuals with backgrounds in strategic transport model development and application, transport scheme appraisals and business cases.

Working with clients such as Transport for Greater Manchester and Highways England, the post holder will be responsible for winning and delivering projects by actively developing and maintaining client relationships through regular contact and by ensuring opportunities are fully explored, robustly qualified and effectively bid. As a project manager you will ensure that work is delivered on time and to the high quality expected by our clients.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have knowledge and experience of working with SATURN and Voyager although other software, such as EMME, VISUM etc., will be considered. You should also have extensive project management (including managing a small project team) and strategic modelling experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in contributing to and working on proposals, although this is not essential. This will be a client-facing role where the post holder will be the key contact with our clients' project managers so the ability to develop and maintain relationships along with excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
