Apprentice Transport Planner

Job Description

Sustrans, the UK's leading sustainable transport charity, which promotes the National Cycle Network and other exciting initiatives, requires an experienced individual to join our team in London.

 Sustrans is seeking an individual who has dreams of becoming a transport planner with a specialism in cycling and walking infrastructure to undertake a training programme whilst working with Sustrans Delivery team in London, supporting the delivery of schemes, as the highly efficient modes of transport that are walking and cycling become increasingly important in keeping London moving and meeting the challenges of population growth.

With five A* - C grade GCSEs, including Maths and English language, you will have the desire and motivation to work towards achieving full professional membership of the Chartered Institute for Highways & Transportation (CIHT).  You will currently be IT literate, have good written and verbal communications skills, have the ability to build successful working relationships and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
