You will be a member of the transport planning team based ideally in Manchester or Liverpool, and a Senior Transport Planner who specialises in elements of policy, strategy and business case development. You will be integrated within a range of transport planning, policy, strategy and business case projects and will assist in driving these projects to successful delivery. You will be a key addition to the team, contributing to the continued development of Mott MacDonald’s market presence and the ongoing growth of our transport planning and policy/strategy portfolio in the North-West. You will also contribute to the company’s wider portfolio of UK and international projects. You will be involved in the following role responsibilities:

You will be able to demonstrate some experience post-graduation in transport planning. This could cover one or more of the following areas: transport policy, transport strategy, business cases, transport economics, rail and bus planning, or sustainable transport planning. You understand the role of TAG and the Green Book in scheme development, are comfortable in writing reports and are able to follow industry standard processes and get involved in business development activities such as providing inputs to bids and tenders.
