As a specialist in aviation, you will be joining a highly motivated team providing advice to a wide range of private and public-sector clients, including airports, airlines, Air Traffic Management, financial institutions, industry bodies, and economic regulators. We provide strategic advice to aviation management on a range of financial/planning or economic issues, undertake evaluations (ex-ante, mid-term, ex-post) and impact assessments of aviation policies to support decision-making of regulators and develop long-term air traffic forecasts to support senior airport executives or financial institutions on transactions at existing and new airports across the world.

With a strong forward workload of high-profile project opportunities, we are delighted to be growing our team to support a range of exciting workstreams, helping our clients achieve successful and sustainable delivery of aviation services world-wide.

We believe in empowering our people and giving them the opportunities to shine. Being an employee-owned company means that our people are dedicated and passionate about what they do, and it is the reason why we are at the forefront of our industry. We are always looking to find new colleagues that share these values.

What we'd like from you:

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of our existing infrastructure team and will be required to:

  • Manage and deliver aviation forecasts, business plans, develop policies and provide advice to aviation regulators
  • Undertake technical analysis, report writing and presentations to clients
  • Deliver effective, high-quality proposals and engage in business development in the UK and overseas
  • Manage, supervise and coach junior members of the team
  • Contribute to technical discipline development activities

What you'll be great at:

  • Strong analytical aptitude, excellent Excel skills and knowledge of quantitative model development (or willingness to learn)
  • Understanding of the aviation advisory market or prior experience of advising public and/or private sector clients
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Relevant ability to manage medium/small-size projects and teams effectively and in parallel
  • Client facing and/or client-side experience

What you may also have to offer:

  • Foreign language skills (in particular, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German)
  • Experience in other transport infrastructure transactions
  • Experience of policy work (such as for the European Commission or the Department for Transport)
