TPS is pleased to announce the launch Transport Planning Day 2024.
See all the current vacancies.
Open to all those studying or working in transport planning, or related fields, on a professional basis.
The Transport Practitioners’ Meeting (TPM) co -sponsored by TPS is now 10 years old and has matured into the UK and Ireland's industry leading annual meeting place for highways, traffic and transport practitioners . By being part of TPM, speakers have the opportunity to present to and network with industry professionals. The conference is focused on issues of universal importance to the industry and the multi-streamed format allows participants access to papers and workshops on a huge range of topics, from localism and funding, to smarter choices, policy and infrastructure development.
With social programmes such as the pre-conference drinks receptions, Awards Ceremony and Dinner, TPM 2012 aims to bring together over 300 participants from the public, private and third sectors to keep up-to-date with policy issues, research findings and best practice across a broad spectrum.
With over 50 industry experts speaking, more than 40 presentations, drop-in sessions and specialist forums this is the one conference you can’t afford to miss!
Along with the two-day conference there will be a technical visit to the Mersey Tunnels on Monday 16th July followed by informal drinks at a local bar. This is an ideal opportunity to network with fellow transport professionals in a casual setting. There is also a prestigious Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 17th at the Metropolitan Cathedral with a sumptuous 3-course meal. The fee for the Awards Dinner is included in all two-day TPM delegate packages. But seats are limited so be quick to book!
