Transport Planning Day Photo competition winners announced!

In July the Transport Planning Society launched a photography competition to support the Transport Planning Day theme on Equality, Diversion and Inclusion. A panel of TPS Board judges assessed the photo’s received and we are pleased to share some of the best images with you and announce the winners.

Judges assessed the submission on relevance, quality and usability in the TPS photo library. We only received photos in the EDI in transport users and usage category. Prizes were awarded to three images:

Peter Mynors won first prize. The sheer delight of the pink girl on the pink bike captures the competition’s theme perfectly. Jonathan Whittaker’s stylish shot of people walking across a rainbow crossing was voted first runner up. Peter Mynors also bagged a second runner-up prize for his joyful picture of a slightly-more-than-middle aged couple thoroughly enjoying their joint bicycle ride.
