Transport Planning Day - North East Event

Transport Planning Day is exploring the Integration Imperative - in how can we make a reality of connecting Policy, Places and People.

This event is the Transport Planning Society North East Region's event as part of a wider national program of events to celebrate TP Day.

This webinar will recognise and celebrate the role of the railway in its 200th year in playing a significant part in the region's development.  We look to its past and ahead to its future as an integrated part of the transport network in the North East.

We have three great speakers joining the event:

  • The history and future of rail in the North East and its role in an integrated network - Ben McMain, Rail Infrastructure Programme Manager: North East CA;
  • The Northumberland Line a Case study: Gemma Paget Technical Director, AECOM; and
  • Metro to Washington part of our integrated future network. Tom Hardwick: Head of System Development, Nexus

We look forward to welcoming you to the event
