Transport Planners of the Year Celebrate First Annual Meet-Up

On 23rd April, past winners of the Transport Planner of the Year and Young Transport Planner of the Year awards gathered for a dinner at The Cut in London - the first of hopefully many to come! 

The event, organised by Nicola Waight and Lucy Saunders, brought together award recipients from across the transport planning profession. It was a unique opportunity for winners - representing a wide range of backgrounds and expertise - to connect in person and share insights from their award-winning work.

The evening featured a lively and engaging format, including a “speed networking” style of table-swapping to ensure everyone had the chance to meet and mingle. The atmosphere was warm, collaborative, and full of energy.

Plans are already underway for next year’s event, promising to build on the success of this first gathering and continue fostering connections among the best in the field.
